High Performance Standards. The MSG Alpha™ is the third product offering from Cameron Compression's Engineering Renaissance (design standardization) program. The MSG Alpha represents Cameron's smallest frame for gas service. Taking many design benefits from the best-selling TA3000 line of standard air compressors, the MSG Alpha is configured ideally for process gas service and offers more range in operating performance (higher flow capacity/high suction pressure capability) than flooded or oil-free rotary screw compressors.

With the MSG Alpha, Cameron's Compression Systems expands on its 45 years of proven engineered compressor design experience to deliver the first model created exclusively with parametric solid modeling. This enables the MSG Alpha to be rapidly configured to meet specific process needs.

Reliability and Ease of Maintenance. Cameron's Compression Systems offers a full line of high-efficiency, oil-free, horizontally split, integrally geared centrifugal compressors, each designed for long lasting performance, easy operation, and convenient service. With sleeve bearings supporting the bullgear shaft for long life and hydrostatic bearings on the high-performance pinions for stable operation, the MSG Alpha is designed from the ground up to be a long-lasting, trouble-free compressor. The MSG Alpha can accept a variety of sealing systems from leakage-free dry gas seals to economical buffered labyrinth seals.
